FAQs
Answers to the most common questions about my training, services and how I can help you
Frequently asked questions
What training methods do you use?
I use kind, positive reinforcement and force-free training methods. This means rewarding the behaviours we want to see more of and helping dogs learn without fear, intimidation or punishment.
What is force free training?
Force-free training focuses on trust, communication and positive learning. It avoids harsh handling, intimidation or punishment and instead helps dogs feel safe, supported and able to learn.
Which service is right for me?
If you are unsure, you can book a free chat or send an enquiry. I’ll help you choose the most suitable support based on your dog’s age, behaviour and what you would like to work on.
Do you work with reactive or nervous dogs?
Yes. I support dogs who bark, lunge, growl, hide, freeze or become overwhelmed around other dogs, people, vehicles or everyday situations.
How many sessions will my dog need?
This depends on your dog, your goals and the behaviour we are working on. Some owners need one session for guidance, while others benefit from ongoing support or a course.
Where do you provide your training?
Training is available in Ely and surrounding areas in Cambridgeshire. Sessions can take place in suitable real-life environments depending on your dog’s needs.
What happens after I book?
After you book or enquire, I’ll gather some information about your dog and what you need help with. We can then choose the right support and next steps.
