Track and Trail - Taster

Tracking and Trailing, something perfect for EVERY dog.

Starts 12 Jul
35 British pounds
West Fen Drove

Service Description

Let their nose lead the way Track & Trail is a calm, confidence-building introduction to scent and trail work, designed to help dogs use one of their most powerful natural skills: their nose. This small-group session gives dogs the chance to slow down, focus, explore, and follow scent in a safe and structured way. It is suitable for dogs who love to sniff, dogs who need more mental enrichment, and dogs who benefit from calm, purposeful activities. Rather than asking dogs to simply “behave” around the world, Track & Trail gives them a job they can understand and enjoy. What is Track & Trail? Track & Trail introduces your dog to the foundations of scent-based searching and trail following. Dogs experience the world largely through scent. Sniffing is not just something they enjoy; it is a natural behaviour that helps them gather information, regulate emotions, problem-solve, and build confidence. In this session, your dog will begin learning how to: Follow scent on the ground Use their nose with purpose Work calmly and independently Build focus in an outdoor environment Engage in natural, enriching behaviour Develop confidence through problem-solving This is not competitive tracking or high-pressure training. It is a gentle, accessible introduction for everyday dogs and their owners.
